About Us
As a millennium initiative, Maugersbury 21 Ltd (M21) was registered as a limited company on 1 March 2001 (Reg. No. 4170810). The company is non-commercial and an entirely "not for profit" organisation. There is a board of directors and most of the residents of Maugersbury are shareholders.

The company's aim is to gather and store data about the village as a community archive for future use as a reference source or for publication. This involves the collecting and collating of historical information in the form of old photographs and documents about Maugersbury and its people.

The intention is to build on the work undertaken by the late Diana Heber-Percy, a Maugersbury resident from 1947, who produced a comprehensive booklet available on the History page.

In addition to the historical data, a diary recording more recent and current activity is being compiled to include photographs of property and records of property ownership changes; social events; and births, marriages, and deaths. A record is also maintained of bird and animal sightings within the parish and the local weather.
