Daisy Bank was converted from an outbuilding in 1986. It had been a general purpose open fronted agricultural building possibly used for storing machinery and equipment. It also housed the battery house which provided electricity to Maugersbury Manor and properties owned by the Manor Estate. Electricity generation took place in the east end of the building, i.e., under the lower roof. Generation ran most of the day to charge a bank of batteries which were stored in a red brick building on the left hand side just inside the yard of Park Farm. However, this part of the building was demolished when the building was converted but during excavation some of the glass rods from the batteries were exposed. Daisy Bank has been used as a holiday cottage since its conversion in 1986.
