Little Broom

Little Broom, also known as 1 Maugersbury Close, was converted from the garage, stable block and stable yard by Mr Len Hill following the sale of the Manor Estate in 1947.

The first occupant was Miss Einerson, who called the property ‘Gardeners Cottage’ and ran a market garden business in what had been the kitchen garden to Maugersbury Manor. The property was bought by David and Brenda Russell in 1967 and was in use as a race horse training and livery yard for many years. The property was extended in 1974 and has been Little Broom Bed and Breakfast since the mid-1990s.
