Maugersbury Court

The Oxlease Farm and farmstead whilst part of the Maugersbury Estate is described under Oxlease House.


Following the 1946 Sale of Outlying Portions of Maugersbury Estate Oxlease House (then with Maugersbury Court) was bought by Norman Lawrence and his wife Marjorie, known as Madge, (nee Fisher). Norman Lawrence died in 1969 and Madge sold the property in 1974. The main house and barn were bought by Pam and Andrew Normand and, after their death, it was sold in 2000. In 2008 the house had been divided; the lower half retaining the name Oxlease House was sold and the and the upper half being renamed Maugersbury Court was sold in 2012.
