Maugersbury Park House is situated on a “false drive” leading westward from Maugersbury Manor, i.e., it was purely for show. It can be seen as an avenue of trees on the 1898 Maugersbury Manor Estate Sale Plan. Construction of the house was started on the site in 1953 but left derelict for many years until it was bought by Victor and Monica Bedding and completed in 1963. The house has been restyled since.
