The Bartlett family (please see family history on the “People” page of this website) have farmed in Maugersbury since the 1870’s.
Tom Bartlett, then residing in Sycamore House, purchased land from Miss (Bunny) Dening in May 1951 to build the bungalow. Following the sale of Sycamore House in 1992, the family moved to the bungalow, subsequently known as Sycamore Farm. After the old traditional Cotswold stone farm buildings were sold, new farm buildings were constructed with access off the Oxlease Lane.
