The property now known as The Old Stow Station was converted from Stow-on-the-Wold Stow Station.

Stow-on-the-Wold Railway Station was well over a mile from the centre of Stow-on-the-Wold. Goods for the town had to be transported up Stow Hill by horse and cart.
